I got married on the beach over 11 years ago. Stepping onto the most exquisite beach setting in Cape St Francis on a perfect day brought it all back to me and filled me with such a sense of “de ja vu” (not sure of spelling). I loved the sign saying “barefoot wedding” and all the other beautiful, simple but tasteful touches. The hanging shell hearts and white wooden gazebo (all made by Candi’s dad) were so effective against a beautiful blue sky!
Candi & Lowell, we had an amazing time with you and your crazy friends… What a beautiful place to start your life together and surrounded by such love and warmth. We loved all your creative ideas and attention to detail; the way the guests had boerewors rolls and drinks at the villa, the rings in an oyster shell, the “I Do” on the bottom of the shoes, the bouquet made up completely of shells, the hanging starfish and so many more unique ideas…
